SEATTLE (February 5, 2015) - Seattle Reign FC today announced their 2015 season schedule, which consists of 22 matches, including ten National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) home matches and two home exhibition matches, including an international friendly against the Chinese Women's National Team.

Reign FC will begin preseason play on the road against Seattle University at Championship Field on Friday, March 13 at 7 p.m PT.

Next, seven members of Reign FC's preseason roster will return to Merlo Field where they played their college careers, as Seattle takes on the University of Portland on Saturday, March 28 at 7 p.m PT. Tickets for the match can be purchased at the gate.

Reign FC will return home to host a Community Shield Match against the University of Washington on Friday, April 3 at 7 p.m. PT. The match will be used to raise awareness and support for one of Reign FC's key Community Partners.

The Club will make up to 5,000 tickets available at no cost, and tickets to the match will be included with every season ticket package.

Reign FC will begin its third NWSL campaign at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, as they play host to Abby Wambach and the Western New York Flash in the season opener on the Moda Pitch at Memorial Stadium.

Following the home opener, Reign FC will embark on a two-match road trip beginning on Saturday, April 18 in Lisle, Ill. against Christen Press and the Chicago Red Stars. The team will then head to Kansas City, Mo. to take on defending NWSL Champion FC Kansas City on Thursday, April 23.

Reign FC will then host Washington Spirit on the Moda Pitch at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, May 2. During the 2014 season, Seattle met Washington a total of four times, topping them in the regular-season series 2-0-1 while notching a 2-1 victory in the playoffs to advance to the NWSL Championship game.

Reign FC will travel to face Sky Blue FC on May 9 in Piscataway, N.J. before concluding the month in Seattle with two home matches. The first of those matches, on Friday, May 22, will see Reign FC take on the Chinese Women's National Team in China's final public match prior to the Women's World Cup in Canada, which begins June 5. China - who is #13 in FIFA's latest rankings - have made it through the knockout stage in their past five WWC appearances, including finishing runners-up in 1999. Since taking over in 2011, head Coach Hao Wei has earned a strong reputation for his efforts in building a young, technically strong side.

Seattle will wrap up May with a home match against the Chicago Red Stars on Saturday, May 30. In the last match of a three-game homestand (the longest of the season), Seattle will begin the month of June with a home fixture against Sky Blue FC on Saturday, June 6.

Between June 7 and June 18, the 2015 Women's World Cup group stages will commence and no NWSL games will be played during this window.

After the break Reign FC will travel to face the Boston Breakers on June 21 before returning to Seattle to host their final regular season match against FC Kansas City on Saturday, June 27.

Reign FC will kick off the month of July with back-to-back matches against the Western New York Flash, first on the road in Rochester, N.Y. on Friday, July 3 followed by a meeting in Seattle on Saturday, July 11. Reign FC will then head back to the east coast on Saturday, July 18 to take on the Washington Spirit.

On Wednesday, July 22, Reign FC will travel to Providence Park to take on Alex Morgan, Christine Sinclair and the Portland Thorns. The team will then host their neighbors to the South on the Moda Pitch at Memorial Stadium four days later on Sunday, July 26. In three meetings during 2014, Seattle topped Portland 2-1 in the season series, including a 5-0 victory at Memorial Stadium.

The month of August features five matches, beginning with a visit to the Boston Breakers on Saturday, Aug. 1. Reign FC will face the No. 1 overall selection in the 2015 NWSL Draft, Morgan Brian, and the Houston Dash twice in a 10 day span, beginning in Seattle on Wednesday, Aug. 12 followed by a match in Houston on Saturday, Aug. 22.

Reign FC's home slate concludes with a match against the Boston Breakers on Wednesday, Aug. 26 followed by a visit from Sky Blue FC three days later on Saturday, Aug. 29. The team will travel to Boyds, Md. for their regular season finale against the Washington Spirit on Saturday, Sept. 5.
