RailRiders Release 2015 Promo Schedule

Moosic, Pa. - The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple-A/New York Yankees) are excited to roll out the 2015 promotional schedule. The team plans a franchise-record 29 giveaways this summer in addition to popular theme nights that offer the best value in family-friendly entertainment. The club kick starts the season by handing out calendars on Opening Night, April 9, and magnet schedules presented by Blue Cross of NEPA on April 10.

Highlighting the list of giveaways will be an Allied Services Derek Jeter bobblehead on June 13, a Dellin Betances bobblehead courtesy of your NEPA Honda dealers on May 30 and a Rob Refsnyder bobble on June 27. Additionally, the club plans to give away 10 different t-shirts throughout the summer as part of T-Shirt Tuesday.

Theme nights continue to be a focus for the franchise's goal of delivering affordable, family-friendly entertainment for all comers each and every night. Back for another season are successful theme nights like Star Wars Night (May 23) with a CHAMP-Vader bobble waist giveaway care of Kintner Homes and Princess & Pirate Night (July 31). The RailRiders will give out Mr. Incrediball masks to the first 1,000 kids on Superhero Night on August 21. For Breast Cancer Awareness Night on August 22, the team will hand out 2,500 PNC Bank Breast Cancer jerseys.

The Philly Phanatic is set to entertain fans at PNC Field as the RailRiders take on the Lehigh Valley IronPigs on July 28.

Other dates of note include Social Media Night on April 23, Boy Scout/Outdoors Night on May 22, What If? Night on June 12, Kids Opening Day featuring a mascot pillow case giveaway for the first 1,000 kids courtesy of Iron Skillet on June 14, an SWB All-Star poster giveaway on July 26 and Back to School Packs for the first 1,000 kids on August 23.

Explosions in the sky offer sure-fire entertainment in their own right and PNC Field will host 13 post-game fireworks shows in 2015. That includes colors that go boom brought to you by the Radisson Lackawanna County Station Hotel on Opening Night. Every Friday home game in 2015 will sport fireworks.
