Charleston Dirty Birds News Release

CHARLESTON, WV (February 4, 2015) - The West Virginia Power, a Class-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, will hold a job fair on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Charleston Town Center. The job fair will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will run until 2:00 p.m. at Macy's Court. National anthem auditions will once again follow the job fair and run from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm.

"Every season, the West Virginia Power hire between 100 and 150 game day employees," stated Tim Mueller, the Power's General Manager. "We need people who are dedicated to making one of the area's top attractions even better in the upcoming season."

The Power are hiring various game day staff positions for the 2015 season. Open positions in 2015 include ticket takers, ushers, suite staff, box office staff, official scorers, vendors and concession stand employees. Applications will be filled out at the job fair and interviews will be done on the spot.

"This job fair always presents opportunities," said Mueller. "We will have students looking for a summer job. We will have people applying who already work a full-time job, but want to work part-time to supplement their income. There is an opportunity for nearly everyone."

At the conclusion of the job fair, national anthem auditions will be held on stage at Macy's Court from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm. All musicians and singers are encouraged to tryout. Musicians can play an instrument while all singers will audition a cappella.
