THIRD PERIOD

Edmonton finally opened the scoring in this one when Andrew Koep's seeing eye wrist shot eluded a screened Rylan Toth. The rookie blueliner's 11th goal of the season gave the Oil Kings a 1-0 lead 4:49 into the final period.

The Oil Kings went up 2-0 at the 10:37 mark when a shot from Brett Pollock deflected off of Riley Sheen's stick and Rylan Toth's shoulder before rolling into the Rebels net.

Pollock later deked out Nelson Nogier and then Toth to net his second goal of the period, giving the Oil Kings a commanding 3-0 lead with 3:30 to go. Ashton Sautner ripped home a 4-on-3 powerplay goal to make it 4-0 just 1:02 later.
