Jaycob Megna Assigned to Norfolk

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that defenseman Jaycob Megna has been assigned to the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Megna, 22, has yet to play a game this season. He skated in two contests for the Admirals last season after the conclusion of his tenure at the University of Nebraska-Omaha and registered two penalty minutes. Anaheim selected Megna in the seventh round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. While in college, the Fort Lauderdale, Florida native logged 105 games, four goals and 22 points over a three-year span.
The Admirals travel to Binghamton this weekend for two-thirds of the upcoming three-in-three . Game time is set for 7:0 5 p.m. on Friday against the Senators on 1650 AM WHKT The Answer. Super Bowl Sunday's game against Hershey begins at 2 p.m.
