OKC Energy FC Signs Daniel Gonzalez

OKLAHOMA CITY - OKC Energy FC has announced the signing of midfielder Daniel Gonzalez, General Manager Jason Hawkins announced today. Gonzalez played for the USL PDL runner-up, Kitsap Pumas during the 2014 season.
"Daniel is a tall center midfielder who has excellent potential to progress," said Energy FC Head Coach Jimmy Nielsen. "He has great skill and a good presence. We're looking forward to helping him develop."
The Yelm, Washington native played collegiately at Peninsula College in Port Angeles, Washington, helping lead the Pirates to the 2012 NWAACC championship. His brother Miguel has signed to play professionally for USL PRO's Colorado Springs Switchbacks.
"Joining Energy FC is an amazing opportunity for me to continue doing what I love," Gonzalez said. "One of my main goals growing up was to play soccer at the professional level, and Oklahoma City has given me the chance to do that. I plan to take advantage of it and enjoy it.
