Rampage to Kick off Pink Week on January 31

SAN ANTONIO (Jan. 28, 2015) - The San Antonio Rampage will honor those who have passed away from breast cancer and celebrate survivors during its annual Pink Week leading up to the sixth annual Pink in the Rink game, presented by The Cancer Therapy and Research Center (CTRC), on Saturday, Feb. 7.
For the first time, the Rampage will skate on pink ice for two games - on Thursday, Feb. 5 against the Texas Stars and on Saturday, Feb. 7 against the Oklahoma City Barons. Both games are slated for 7 p.m. puck drops, and the team will wear special pink jerseys that will be auctioned off following Saturday's game to benefit breast health awareness efforts and cancer research.
The Rampage have raised more than $152,000 for breast cancer research and awareness efforts to date.

2015 Pink Week Schedule of Events
Saturday, Jan. 31
12-2 p.m.
Join T-Bone and the Ice Girls at H-E-B Plus! in Stone Oak (20935 US Hwy 281 North) for the coolest of photo opportunities on the Rampage Zamboni. Plus, warm up with a FREE cup of hot cocoa with pink marshmallows and enter-to-win for a chance at tickets to the Pink in the Rink Game on Feb. 7.
Monday, Feb. 2
Survivor Skate
7-8 p.m. at the AT&T Center
The Rampage will host cancer survivors at their annual Survivor Skate. Cancer survivors will have the first opportunity to skate on the pink ice and will be joined by Rampage players Jesse Blacker, Jonathan Racine, Quinton Howden and Tony Turgeon.
Tuesday, Feb. 3
Ticket Delivery
T-Bone will deliver Rampage tickets and Pink in the Rink gift bags to area breast cancer survivors in the Red McCombs Toyota Rampage RAV4.
Wednesday, Feb. 4
Twitter Takeover and Golden Puck Fundraiser
12 p.m. (approximate)
New Rampage forward Corban Knight will take over the Rampage Twitter account, @sarampage, following the team's practice. Fans can submit their questions for Knight with the hashtag #AskCorban.
7:30 p.m.
The Rampage wives and girlfriends will hold a "Golden Puck" fundraiser on the concourse at the Spurs game against the Orlando Magic at 7:30 p.m. Fans can purchase an autographed Rampage specialty pink puck for $20 at the table. Each puck will be individually wrapped, and the lucky fan to receive the "golden puck" (the puck signed in gold ink) will win a basketball autographed by the 2014 NBA Championship team. All funds raised will go to the Children's Hospital of San Antonio Foundation and will benefit the cancer program.
Thursday, Feb. 5
Rampage vs. Texas Stars
7 p.m.
The Rampage host the Texas Stars in the first opportunity fans will have to see the AT&T Center ice dyed pink. Once again, fans can find the Rampage wives and girlfriends holding the "Golden Puck" fundraiser on the concourse and can purchase a signed specialty pink puck for $10 with a chance to win one of three autographed sticks. All proceeds will benefit the cancer program at the Children's Hospital of San Antonio.
Friday, Feb. 6
Survivor Makeovers
1:00 p.m.
Four breast cancer survivors who were nominated by Rampage fans will be chosen for a makeover at Pure Posh Salon. They will join the Rampage wives and girlfriends for a pampering session followed by a night out at the Spurs game, as the Silver and Black host the Miami Heat at 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 7
Pink in the Rink
7 p.m.
The Rampage will host the Oklahoma City Barons in the sixth annual Pink in the Rink game, presented by The Cancer Therapy & Research Center (CTRC). Puck drop is at 7 p.m. and will be the last time the team plays on the pink ice. The special pink jerseys the team will be wearing will be auctioned off after the game with proceeds benefitting breast cancer awareness and research efforts.
