AMARILLO, TX -Another Amarillo Bulls Alumni joined a select group of players over the weekend, firing his first NCAA goal.

Matt Sieckhaus scored for Bentley in a 2-1 victory over RIT this past Saturday night. Bentley is also where Tyler Deresky plays.

Goaltender Paul Berrafato has been busy lately for Holy Cross. Berrafato played in his third and fourth straight games for the Crusaders against former teammates at Robert Morris University. Holy Cross lost both ends of the weekend series 2-1 and 4-3. Brady Ferguson tallied twice for RMU, while Karl Beckman had an assist for the Crusaders.

Canisius College turned back Niagara 6-4. Cody Freeman had an assist for Canisius College, while TJ Sarcona set up a goal for the Eagles.

Hampus Gustafsson and Collin Deia were in action for Merrimack College against UMASS. In the first game, Gustafsson earned an assist in a 4-4 and the next day, he scored the lone goal in a 4-1 loss. Delia was the goaltender of record in that loss to the Minutemen.

In Division III, Neumann had a win 9-0 win and a 5-5 tie versus Utica College. Mike Davis contributed three goals combined in the two games, while Dan McDougall had one goal and two assists in the tie. Mike Taffe was in goal for Utica in third period of the loss.

St. Scholastica beat Lawrence 6-1 and 4-2 thanks to help from former Captain Derek Hills The Campbell River, BC native had goals in both games. Forward Blake Roubos scored once for Lawrence.

Ryan Cole had a couple of markers as Trinity stopped Tufts 4-1.

It's a big weekend of hockey and promotions at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. The Amarillo Bulls hit the ice for a pair of games on Friday and Saturday against the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees at 7 pm. Friday is $1 hotdog night, and one lucky fan could a $1,000 in the Chuck A Puck. Saturday is Back The Badge Night Presented By Crime Stoppers. All fans are asked to wear blue. First responders can get free tickets to the game, and their families can purchase tickets for $7 with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Sgt. Houston Gass from Pampa. The WT Women's Softball Team will be honored for their NCAA National Championship victory. One lucky child could win a bike from Seven Bar and Grill.
