Kenai River Brown Bears News Release
The Brown Bears shot, and shot often in the second game at home against Fairbanks. Once again they couldn't find the back of the net, and found themselves down 2 after one period of play. The Bears never gave up, and kept pushing the physical play in the second and Jack Gessert (Nickels) got the game with in one after two. The third period saw the teams trading chances, and once again a few unlucky bounces go into the Bears net, and another 4-1 loss. Evan Hauser battled in net stopping 28 shots.
