January 23, 2015 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL) News Release

St. Catharines, ON - The talented trio of Travis Konecny (Ottawa 67's), Connor McDavid (Erie Otters), and Timo Meier (Halifax Mooseheads) combined for three goals in Team Orr's 6-0 victory over Team Cherry at the 2015 BMO CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game before a sold out crowd of 5,300.

Konecny was named the Jim Gregory Player of the Game for Team Orr with two goals and an assist, with Meier scoring once with two helpers. McDavid had a single assist on Meier's first period marker.

Ryan Pilon (Brandon Wheat Kings) opened the scoring for Team Orr, while Nathan Noel (Saint John Sea Dogs) and Paul Bittner (Portland Winterhawks) added goals in the latter half of the third period to seal the deal on Team Orr's fifth consecutive victory in the event, a trend that dates back to the 2011 CHL Top Prospects Game.

Goaltenders Nick McBride (Prince Albert Raiders) and Liam Herbst (Ottawa 67's) combined for a 32-save shutout, the second in the history of the 20-year event.
