Medicine Hat, AB - The ATB Financial Player of the Week for the week ending January 18th, is forward Dryden Hunt.
The Tigers played 3 games over the last week after coming off a tough 3 game in 3 nights BC road trip. Wednesday saw the visiting Regina Pats come to town, the first meeting for new Tigers Hunt and Kyle Burroughs after the Jan. 5 trade. Then it was a trip to Northern Saskatchewan to take on the Saskatoon Blades and Prince Albert Raiders, the Tabbies would go 1-2-0-0 in those 3 games, a small slide for the Tigers in this second half.
This is Hunt's first ATB Financial Player of the Week honour of the 2014-2015 season for the Tigers.
Hunt has made himself feel right at home recording a point in every game played for the Tigers this season. Dryden is a skilled winger would plays a physical style of play. Hunt's game has seen him get ranked by the NHL's Central Scouting and also holds the WHL's longest point streak at 17 games. In the 3 games last week Hunt recorded 3 goals and 1 assist.
