Otterbelle Tryouts Announced

(EVANSVILLE, Ind.) - The Otterbelles, the promotional dance team for the Evansville Otters, announced their spring tryouts on Tuesday.
The tryouts will be held on Sunday, Mar. 1 beginning at 1:00 p.m. The tryouts will take place at Shannon's School of Dance, located at 560 E Diamond Avenue in Evansville, Ind. Tryouts will consist of learning and performing a routine and dance techniques (leaps, splits, and turns).
Those trying out must be 18 years of age or older.
Otterbelles also must have dance skill, be outgoing and have the ability to work with kids.
The Otters begin the 2015 season at home on Friday, May 15 when they host the Traverse City Beach Bums in a 6:35 p.m. game at Historic Bosse Field. This year is the upcoming 100th Anniversary of Bosse Field's first ballgame in 1915. The Otters will have a year-long celebration to commemorate the event with more details to be released at a future date.
