This week:

The Wolf Pack return home for games this week at the XL Center Wednesday vs. the Providence Bruins and Friday against the Springfield Falcons. Both games face off at 7:00, and then the Pack are off to Syracuse for a visit to the Crunch Saturday night at 7:00.

Wednesday, January 21 vs. the Providence Bruins at the XL Center, 7:00 PM

- Every Wolf Pack Wednesday home game is "Winning Wednesday". If the Wolf Pack win this game, each fan receives a free ticket to the Pack's next home game, which is this Friday, January 23 vs. Springfield (some restrictions apply).

- This is also another opportunity for fans to take advantage of the Wolf Pack's "Click It or Ticket Family Value Pack". The Family Value Pack features two tickets, two sodas and two hot dogs, all for only $35.

- This is Providence's first visit of the season to the XL Center, and the second overall meeting between the Wolf Pack and P-Bruins. In the first, the Bruins triumphed by a 4-1 score November 21 in Providence. Last year against the Bruins, the Wolf Pack were 1-3-1-1 in a six-game series, 1-2-0-0 at home.

- Providence comes into this game three games above .500 at 19-16-5-1 for 44 points, good for fourth place in the Atlantic Division and a tie for eighth in the Eastern Conference.

- Alexander Khokhlachev, who leads the Bruins in points with 9-19-28 in 33 GP, had the game-winning goal with 1:29 left in the third period of Providence's 5-4 home win over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Sunday.

- For this and all Wolf Pack home games, tickets start as low as $12 for youth 12 years old or younger and are available at the XL Center ticket office, on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com and by phone at (877) 522-8499.

- Broadcast - live with Bob Crawford and Mark Bailey on Fox Sports Radio 1410, on-line at www.foxsportsradio1410.com and on iHeartRadio. Video streaming at www.ahllive.com.

Friday, January 23 vs. the Springfield Falcons at the XL Center, 7:00 PM

- This is "Work Zone Safety Night" at the XL Center. The Connecticut Department of Transportation will be promoting the "Obey the Orange" work-zone safety message throughout the game.

- At this and all Friday-night Wolf Pack home games, fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $2 beers at the XL Center, through the start of the second period.

- Also at Friday-night home games this year, "Hawk's Nest" is featured in the XL Center's Comcast Coliseum Club, with Bob "Hawk" Crawford, the play-by-play voice of the Wolf Pack, conducting a Wolf Pack-themed interview from 6:00-6:20 PM. Questions and comments will be welcomed from the patrons enjoying the Comcast Coliseum Club's wide array of dining and beverage options. The Comcast Coliseum Club restaurant and bar area is open two hours prior to every Wolf Pack home game, to everyone holding a ticket to the game.

- This is the third encounter of the year between the Wolf Pack and their most familiar rivals the Falcons, and the first three have all gone beyond regulation. Springfield scored shootout wins in their first two visits to the XL Center, 1-0 on December 6 and 2-1 on December 26, and the Wolf Pack won the last meeting January 10 in Springfield, 4-3 in overtime.

- The Falcons (26-11-4-0, 56 pts.) have lost back-to-back games, 2-1 in overtime Wednesday at Albany and 6-3 at home against Binghamton Sunday, but still lead the Northeast Division by three points over second-place Syracuse.

- Defenseman Austin Madaisky, the Falcons' leading point-scorer with 12-20-32 in 41 games, has scored goals in three of his last four games to move into a tie for the league leadership among defensemen in that category.

- Broadcast - live with Bob Crawford and Mark Bailey on Fox Sports Radio 1410, on-line at www.foxsportsradio1410.com and on iHeartRadio. Video streaming at www.ahllive.com.

Saturday, January 24 at the Syracuse Crunch (War Memorial Arena), 7:00 PM

- The Wolf Pack won the last battle between themselves and the Crunch, 3-2 in overtime January 9 in Hartford, after having lost the previous three. The Pack are 2-3-0-0 in the season series, and have split two earlier visits to Syracuse, winning 4-3 in overtime in their season opener October 12 and losing 6-5 on December 5.

- The Crunch enter the week four points ahead of the Wolf Pack in the Northeast Division, with a record of 24-11-5-0 for 53 points. Syracuse has lost two of its last three games, after going 13-2-2-0 in 17 games from November 29 through January 10.

- Syracuse rookie defenseman Dylan Blujus scored his first pro goal in the last get-together between the Wolf Pack and Crunch January 9 at the XL Center. His third-period power-play strike earned the visitors a standings point in what would become a 3-2 overtime loss.

- Broadcast - live with Bob Crawford on-line at www.979espn.com and on iHeartRadio. Video streaming at www.ahllive.com.
