Calgary, AB- Victoria Royals' forward Austin Carroll notched two third period goals including the game winner on the powerplay as the Royals defeated the Calgary Hitmen 4-1 for their fourth straight victory.

With three assists tonight, Victoria's Brandon Magee tied Kevin Sundher for the franchise all-time lead in points at 241 (104g-137a). Joe Hicketts opened the scoring for the Royals on the man advantage, while Jack Walker rounded out the scoring with an empty net goal. Calgary's lone marker was scored by Ben Thomas.

Victoria's goaltender Justin Paulic turned away 20 of 21 shots. Calgary's netminder Brendan Burke stopped 27 of the 30 shots he faced.

The Royals went 2/2100.0% on the powerplay, while the Hitmen went 0/10.0%.

Victoria will cap off their three game road trip tomorrow against the Edmonton Oil Kings with puck drop at 3:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
