Eagles Make Series of Transactions

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames and Adirondack Flames of the AHL, announced Thursday that Eagles netminder Doug Carr has received a call-up to the AHL by Adirondack. In addition, Eagles forward Taylor Vause has been re-assigned to the Eagles and is expected to be in the line-up for the weekend series in Bakersfield. Finally, in a separate transaction forward Jonathan Parker has been traded to the Indianapolis Fuel in exchange for cash.
Carr has logged 1,127 playing minutes with the Eagles. The 6-foot-1, 194 pound goalie has a record of 9-9-0-0 as well as a 2.77 goals-against average and a .881 save percentage. He is fresh off of two wins against the Stockton Thunder at the Budweiser Events Center, shutting down 49 of Stockton's 53 shots in two games.
Vause, the 5-foot-10, 185-pound Calgary native, has posted 13 points in just 10 games with Colorado this season. The 23 year-old appeared in 17 games with Adirondack, notching 7 points including 3 goals and finishing up with a plus-minus rating of +2.
Parker has posted 50 points including 21 goals in two seasons with Colorado. The 5-foot-11, 205-pound winger has notched 26 points in 27 games with the Eagles. In addition, the 23 year-old has appeared in 76 AHL games with the Rochester Americans, registering 5 goals and 7 assists.
