Ottawa 67's News Release

OTTAWA - The Ottawa 67's of the Ontario Hockey League made a trade on Wednesday, acquiring right winger Adam Craievich from the Guelph Storm for left winger Tyler Hill.

Craievich, a 17-year-old from Sarnia, scored four goals and had 11 points for Guelph this season, his second in the OHL. He received the league's Ivan Tennant Memorial Award in June of 2014 as the top academic high school player in the league.

In 2013, he was named MVP of the 2013 OHL Cup with the Oakville Rangers, scoring twice in the championship and semi-final games to secure the title.

"Adam is a young player who has a knack of finding ways of making things happen in the offensive zone," said 67's general manager Pat Higgins. "He's a smart player who is focussed and goal-oriented both on and off the ice."

Hill had seven goals and 17 points in his second season with the 67's.

The 67's travel to Peterborough for a game against the Petes on Thursday and return to TD Place for a home game on Friday, January 9 against the Windsor Spitfires. Face-off is at 7:30 p.m.
