Danbury Whalers News Release

The Danbury Whalers are proud to announce the re-signing of forward Rob Dongara. Last season for the Whalers Dongara tallied 14 goals and 16 assists in 47 games. Rob was 3rd on the team with 4 Game Winning Goals and was also among the team leaders with a +24.

A broken thumb in Game 1 of the Finals took Dongara out of action, playing in only one playoff game.

Dongara commented, "I had a great time playing in Danbury last season. The fans are amazing and the community just rallies behind the boys. I love being back and I'm looking forward to Friday."

Prior to starting his professional career played two seasons collegiately in the Hockey East Conference at Northeastern University.
