Wolf Pack Sign Forward Tyler Brown to PTO

HARTFORD, January 7, 2015: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack has signed forward Tyler Brown to a Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement.
Brown, a 6-2, 195-pound fourth-year pro, has skated in 33 games this year for the Wolf Pack's ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Road Warriors. The Wasaga Beach, Ontario native has scored a team-leading 12 goals and added six assists for 18 points, while serving 12 minutes in penalties. Brown is also a +10, which is good for fifth on the Greenville squad.
Prior to this year, the 24-year-old Brown spent the entirety of his pro career in the AHL with the Adirondack Phantoms. In 182 total games over three seasons with Adirondack, Brown registered 14 goals and 18 assists for 32 points, plus 72 PIM. Brown was originally signed as a free agent by the Philadelphia Flyers March 2, 2011, after a four-year career with the Ontario Hockey League's Plymouth Whalers.
The Wolf Pack's next game is home at the XL Center this Friday night, January 9, a 7:00 PM battle with the Syracuse Crunch. All Friday-night Wolf Pack home games feature $1 hot dogs and $2 beers through the start of the second period.
