Boise Hawks Hold Glove Drive

January 7, 2015 - Northwest League (NWL1)
Boise Hawks News Release

Boise, ID - The Boise Hawks are asking the local community to join in on the inaugural winter glove drive to benefit the Salvation Army. With temperatures still dipping below the freezing point, the Hawks want to help those who need assistance in keeping warm. The Hawks will donate one (1) ticket to Opening Night 2015 on June 18th against the Tri-City Dust Devils to each participant who brings to the Hawks front office new winter gloves.

"The Boise Hawks are continuing to look at ways to give assistance in the community," said Hawks president Todd Rahr. "We feel that this is an opportunity for both donors to feel appreciated by offering them a ticket and for those in our community who could use help. Sometimes we forget how a small thing like a pair of winter gloves can go a long way."

Donations of new winter gloves can be made at the Hawks front office, located at Memorial Stadium at 5600 North Glenwood Street. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Donations can be made through January 30th . The Hawks can be reached at (208) 322-5000.
