Reds Caravan to Make Stop at Louisville Slugger Field

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The 2015 Reds Caravan will make its annual stop in Louisville on Thursday, January 22 at Louisville Slugger Field from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The event will feature Reds broadcaster Marty Brennaman, catcher Brayan Peña, pitcher J.J. Hoover, 1999 NL All-Star and Rookie of the Year pitcher Scott Williamson, minor league outfielder and first-round draft pick Phillip Ervin, Senior Director of Baseball Analytics Sam Grossman, and mascots Gapper and Buddy Bat.

The 2015 Reds Caravan provides fans with the opportunity to interact with current and former players, top minor leaguers, broadcasters and members of the Reds front office staff. At each stop, the group will field questions from fans and sign autographs while time allows. In all, the caravan will make 17 stops and cover 3,300 miles in four days over Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia and Tennessee.

Sales representatives from both the Cincinnati Reds and Louisville Bats will be on hand to discuss season tickets and group outings. The Reds Hall of Fame, the Reds Community Fund and Cincinnati USA Regional Tourism Network will attend selected stops. Also at each stop, the Reds will raffle two tickets to the Monday, April 6 Opening Day game against the Pittsburgh Pirates and two tickets to the T-Mobile All-Star FanFest at the Duke Energy Convention Center during 2015 MLB All-Star Week (July 10-14).

The Bats open 2015 with Opening Night at Louisville Slugger Field on April 9 with the first of 11 $1 Budweiser happy hours of the year. The 2015 season will mark both the Bats' 16th season at Louisville Slugger Field and their 16th season as the top affiliate of the Reds. The entire 2015 Bats schedule, including updated promotions and special events, can be found at batsbaseball.com . Full and partial season tickets, along with group outings and luxury suite rentals are available by calling the Bats front office at 502-212-2287. Single game tickets, including for Thunder Over Louisville and July 3, are set to go on sale March 1.
