ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week's action with a 21-18-0-1 record (13-6-0-0 at home, 8-12-0-1 on the road, 5-0 in overtime, 1-1 in shootouts) and in fourth place in the CENTRAL DIVISION...KOOTENAY, who are 6-1-0-1 in the past eight games, will play the next two contests on home ice beginning January 9 versus RED DEER.

TRANSACTION / INJURY: KOOTENAY has added Defenseman TANNER LISHCHYNSKY (January 5, 1995) from the FLIN FLON BOMBERS of the SASKATCHEWAN JUNIOR HOCKEY LEAGUE...Defenseman TANNER FAITH will be out of the ICE lineup indefinitely with an upper body injury.
ONE YEAR AGO: After 40 games of the 2013-14 season the ICE were 19-18-2-1, after 41 games 19-19-2-1 and after 42 games 20-19-2-1.
