Terry Pendleton to Appear at Hot Stove Event

Rome, GA - The 2015 Hot Stove Gathering will be held at the Forum on Monday January 26 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Atlanta Braves legend Terry Pendleton is scheduled to appear. Pendleton currently serves as the Atlanta Braves first base coach and 2015 will mark his 14th season on the Braves' coaching staff. As a player, Pendleton enjoyed a 15 year career and was named the N.L. Most Valuable Player in 1991 and was selected to the All-Star team in 1992 while playing for the Braves.

"We are extremely excited to have Terry in Rome for our Hot Stove Gathering this year," says Rome Braves General Manager Michael Dunn. "Fans will have the opportunity to meet a former MVP and All-Star and talk baseball as we prepare for the upcoming season."

The annual event, in its 15th year, benefits local charities. Fans can enjoy an "all you can eat" gourmet ballpark fare dinner including hot dogs, chili dogs, slaw dogs, and much more. There will be a question and answer opportunity, autograph session, and more. The new Rome Braves field staff will be on hand with additional guests soon to be announced.

Tickets are $15 in advance ($20 at the door) and can be purchased at the Rome Braves ticket office and online at romebraves.com beginning Tuesday January 6th at 10 a.m. Children's tickets are $10 in advance ($12 at the door). Season ticket holders can take advantage of getting two tickets for $25 if they purchase now. Tickets purchased the day of the event are based on availability.

Special VIP tickets can be purchased that include a cocktail reception meet and greet with the evening's special guests and gift bag. VIP tickets can be purchased for $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

The Rome Braves open the season on April 9th against the Savannah sand Gnats at 7 p.m.
