Two Goals for Bleackley; Rebels Win 3-1 over Oil Kings

One night after picking up a 3-2 road win at Edmonton, the Rebels welcomed the Oil Kings for their first visit of the season to the Enmax Centrium.
FIRST PERIOD
No scoring. The Rebels carried the play in the opening minutes before Edmonton replied with a number of good scoring chances in the latter half.
SECOND PERIOD
The Oil Kings opened the scoring 10:43 into the middle frame. Andrew Koep found a loose puck in the slot and found the back of the Rebels net for his 10th goal of the year, 1-0 Oil Kings.
THIRD PERIOD
The Rebels drew even in the third period when Austin Adamson dug the puck loose for Conner Bleackley. The captain fired home his 16th goal of the year to make it a 1-1 game at the 8::44 mark. Nelson Nogier also assisted on the goal.
Bleackley struck again to give his team its first lead of the game with 2:15 to go, Riley Sheen collected the lone assist.
Brooks Maxwell sealed the deal with an empty netter at 19:56, Rebels win 3-1.

NOTES - Rebels scratches for the game were Colton Bobyk (newly acquired), Mario Grman, Adam Musil, Austin Shmoorkoff and Kolton Dixon... The win was the Rebels first this season when trailing through two periods... Rebels goalie Taz Burman earned his first home ice win of the season... attendance for the game was 5483
