Hurricanes Trade Foulk to Broncos

Lethbridge, AB - Just over a week after releasing veteran defenseman Griffin Foulk, the Hurricanes have traded the 19-year old to the Swift Current Broncos for a conditional 8th round WHL Bantam Draft pick in 2016.
The Hurricanes acquired Foulk in October 2013 from the Seattle Thunderbirds when they sent Adam Henry to Seattle for the product of Broomfield Colorado. In 85 games with the Hurricanes, Foulk registered 4 goals, 12 assists and 116 PIM's. The 19-year old has played a total of 153 career WHL games with Lethbridge, Seattle and the Everett Silvertips.
The Hurricanes next home game is tonight (Saturday, December 27th) at 7:00pm when they host the Medicine Hat Tigers. Tickets are available by calling the ENMAX Centre at (403) 329-7328.
