River Cats to Host Giants Trophy Tour

WEST SACRAMENTO - The Sacramento River Cats will host the 2010, 2012, and 2014 San Francisco Giants World Championship trophies at Raley Field on January 7, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The trophies will be available in centerfield for viewing and pictures, and the event is free and open to the public with a suggested donation to the Junior Giants program upon entrance.

"We are so proud to be the affiliate of the World Champion San Francisco Giants," said River Cats General Manager, Chip Maxson. "As a baseball fan, there probably isn't a greater thrill than to take a picture with the Commissioner's Trophy. Being able to the host all three trophies at Raley Field is a true honor for our fans and all the baseball lovers in the greater Sacramento area."

The On Deck Shop team store will open throughout the event for fans to browse the latest San Francisco Giants World Champions apparel, as well as new River Cats merchandise. The Sacramento Bee will also be displaying their World Series photography throughout the ballpark for fans to enjoy.

Fans will also be able to browse available season ticket and mini plan seat locations for the 2015 season.

PERSONAL PHOTO POLICY

There have been a large number of fans attending each of the trophy viewings. The Giants & River Cats intend to accommodate as many fans as possible during the viewing time period. Fans can take photos of the trophies with their personal cameras up to a designated area while waiting in line. Once fans have reached that designated area, only the professional photographers will be allowed to take a posed photo of you or your group.

LINE POLICY

Fans are advised to arrive early as the line will be cut off, if needed, to allow the trophies to leave at the designated end time. A Giants representative will assess and determine a cutoff point in line. A fan who arrives during the designated viewing time is NOT automatically guaranteed a photo with the trophies.

Fans are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
