Munroe Returns to Kalamazoo, Dansk Heads to Falcons

KALAMAZOO- For the second time in a span of a month, the Kalamazoo Wings and the American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons will be swapping goaltenders. Earlier today, the Columbus Blue Jackets reassigned Oscar Dansk to the Falcons, while Springfield reassigned Scott Munroe to the K-Wings.
Munroe, who has played in one game (October 18th) this season for the K-Wings, is 1-0-0-0 with a goals-against average of 2.00 and a save percentage of .0920.
Dansk's reassignment to Springfield marks the 12th time this season that a member of the K-Wings has been either called-up or loaned to an AHL team.
Kalamazoo will make ECHL history this Saturday, December 27th, as the K-Wings travel to Fifth-Third Field in Toledo, Ohio for a 5:30 p.m. encounter against the Toledo Walleye in the league's very first Outdoor Game.
The K-Wings will return home on Wednesday, December 31st to the host the Cincinnati Cyclones at 8 p.m. during the 13th Annual New Year's Eve Bash. The K-Wings will get in a festive mood by wearing special Tuxedo jerseys.Following the game the K-Wings will host a postgame bash featuring a live DJ in Wings Stadium during the FREE public skate. Fans will be able to celebrate the New Year with the K-Wings players. There will be plenty of fun activities in the concourse and even Keg Curling in The Annex. One lucky fan will start 2015 with pizza for a year courtesy of Hungry Howie's. Admittance to the bash is included with your K-Wings game ticket for December 31st. Due to limited skate rentals, the K-Wings encourage fans to bring their own skates.
Tickets for all K-Wings home games are currently on sale at Wings Stadium Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, including www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.
Fans that plan on attending multiple games can avoid service fees plus enjoy a discount from the single-game price by purchasing a 12, 24 or 36-game flexi-plan.
