Crew SC to Compete in Inaugural ATX Pro Challenge in Austin

In conjunction with new USL PRO affiliate Austin Aztex, Columbus Crew SC today announced that it is set to partake in the inaugural ATX Pro Challenge in Austin, Texas as part of its preseason schedule.
Taking place from Friday, February 13 through Sunday, February 15, 2015, the ATX Pro Challenge is a four-team, single-elimination preseason tournament. The Black & Gold are slated to be joined by the Aztex, D.C. United and FC Dallas for the competition which will take place at the Mike A. Meyers Track and Soccer Stadium at the University of Texas at Austin.
Columbus competed in the 2014 Walt Disney Pro Soccer Classic in Orlando as part of last season's preseason schedule, winning the event by virtue of a 4-1 victory over then-defending MLS Cup Champions Sporting Kansas City.
General Admission tickets for the ATX Pro Challenge start as low as $20 for a Friday pass, $30 for a Sunday pass, or $40 for the full, four-game weekend pass. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, January 9 and can be purchased online or through University of Texas at Austin's box office.
The trip to Austin is one of Crew SC's scheduled legs on its 2015 preseason schedule, with further details to be announced soon.
