67's Earn Raod Win in Mississauga

The 67's earned a 4-1 win over the Mississauga Steelheads at the Hershey Center in Ontario League Hockey action Friday night.

Ottawa centre Dante Salituro scored the opening goal, beating Steelheads goaltender Spencer Martin to give the 67's a 1-0 lead after 10 minutes in the first period.

The 67's added to their lead early in the second with winger Kevin Groulx netting one to make it 2-0 for Ottawa.

Captain Travis Konecny found the back of the net in the last moments of the second period to give Ottawa a 3-0 lead.

The Steelheads managed to score about halfway through the third with Sam Babintsev managing Mississauga's lone goal of the night on Ottawa's Leo Lazarev.

Ottawa cemented it's lead about halfway through the third frame as winger Nathan Todd scored a shorthanded goal to make it 4-1 for the 67's.

Dante Salituro (96) had a goal and an assist while defenseman Evan De Haan (22) assisted on two Ottawa goals.

Ottawa will host the Kingston Frontenacs on December 28th at TD Place with the puck drop at 2 pm.
