New England Revolution News Release
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution will open the 2015 MLS season on Sunday, March 8 when they travel to the Pacific Northwest to face the reigning Supporters' Shield winners, Seattle Sounders FC, live on FOX Sports 1. That was the first of three Revolution games that were announced today as Major League Soccer and its national broadcast partners unveiled the lineup of home openers for the League's 20th season.
In addition to opening the season in Seattle, the 2014 Eastern Conference champion Revolution will also serve as the opponent for the inaugural home game for New York City FC, one of two expansion clubs that will begin play in 2015. That game will be played at Yankee Stadium on Sunday, March 15. Six days later, on Saturday, March 21, the Revs will play their home opener when they face the Montreal Impact at Gillette Stadium. The start time for this game is still yet to be determined.
The complete 34-game regular-season schedule for the 2015 MLS campaign will be announced at a later date. The 2015 season will mark the first year of an eight-year landmark television and media rights partnerships with ESPN, FOX Sports and Univision networks.
Season tickets for the 2015 New England Revolution season are on sale and start at $315 for lower bowl seating, which allows extraordinary access to the Revolution at Gillette Stadium. The season ticket package includes a host of amenities and special access events with the team. New England Revolution Holiday Packs are also on sale now. Starting at just $19 per game, Revolution Holiday Packs are available in six-game and four-game plans, and include the choice of one free gift from the Revs. All Holiday Packs are on sale through December 31.
