RiverKings and Fred's Team Up

COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. - RiverKings player Justin Gvora and fred's Super Dollar Director of Own Brand Lesley Butler surprised Schilling Farms Middle School on December 17 with a special gift for a special teacher.

Schilling Farms Middle School student Christian Flynn won a creative writing contest sponsored by fred's Super Dollar in conjunction with the RiverKings' "Face Off Field Trip" event in November. Flynn wrote about his favorite teacher, LaChanda Davis.

He received a RiverKings prize pack and Ms. Davis received a $300 fred's SmartBucks gift card.

The RiverKings are back home Tuesday, Dec. 23 for "Festivus" Night. The RiverKings celebrate the holiday "for the rest of us" and fans wearing a tacky sweater can buy one ticket and get one of equal value for free, available at the Landers Center Box Office. Single-game tickets can be purchased at riverkings.com/ticketmaster and groups of 15 or more get a discount, with group tickets starting at $8 per ticket, by calling the front office at 662-342-1755.
