Friday' s battle is the third meeting between the two sides in the 2014-2015 MASL season. The Blast claimed the first two contests, 16-7 in the season opener and 11-4 on November 29 in Syracuse.

"We have to be super disciplined," SSK Coach Tommy Tanner explained. " It was close in the last game. You just need to limit your mistakes, limit the free kicks and commit men behind the ball."

Syracuse is coming off a dominant home performance. The Orange, Silver and Black blasted the Harrisburg Heat 26-8 last Saturday at the War Memorial. Three Silver Knights, Slavisa Ubiparipovic, Cory Elenio and Darren Toby, scored two goals each in the rout.

"In order to get out of the East, we have to beat Baltimore." Tanner said. " Our schedule is very difficult. We play them three times in our first six games, so we need this one."

Coach Danny Kelly' s team is off to an electric start to the campaign. The perennial contenders are 6-0. Baltimore has spread the scoring wealth this campaign with 16 different players having at least one goal. Lucas Roque leads the team with 11 strikes and two assists.

Friday' s match will be broadcast live from the War Memorial on GoLiveSportsCast.com beginning at 7:30 p.m. EST with commentary by JP Chunga and Mike Kirmse. The game will be available shortly after its completion as on-demand content.

The Salt City club will have a quick turnaround, starting a new series of the Thruway Rivalry against Rochester Lancers (3-1, Eastern Division #2) on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. EST the Blue Cross Arena.

" It' ll be very tough. We' ll have to dig deep and defend well because Rochester has some confidence," Tanner said.
