Manchester Monarchs News Release

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs will partner with the Mission Committee of the First Congregational Church of Pelham, United Church of Christ for the first ever "Undie Sunday" on January 18. The Monarchs will be collecting unworn and packaged underwear, socks and other essentials during their game against Worcester for distribution to homeless shelters across New Hampshire.

"We are so excited to be a part of this project," Reverend Bill Ferguson said. "The ability to have access to clean underwear and socks goes a long way to provide a touch of dignity to so many people in need."

Any church or community group that would like to get involved should contact Ryan Leach at (603) 626-7825 Ext. 6112 or RLeach@ManchesterMonarchs.com. For special ticket offers to the game on January 18, please visit www.Tinyurl.com/undiesunday.

The Monarchs will play two games at the Verizon Wireless Arena prior to the holiday break with a 7 p.m. matchup against Worcester this Friday and a 7 p.m. game against Providence on Saturday.
