Nailers, Beast Announce Makeup Date
December 16, 2014 - ECHL (ECHL)
Wheeling Nailers News Release
WHEELING, WV- The Wheeling Nailers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadiens, have announced the makeup date for the game previously scheduled on December 7th at Powerade Centre against the Brampton Beast. The game will now be played on Sunday, April 12th, with face-off taking place at 2:00PM.
Wheeling and Brampton were originally scheduled for a 2:00 game on December 7th at Powerade Centre, but transportation issues forced the game to be postponed. This will become the regular season finale for the Nailers, who will end up playing four games in five days in four different cities, after facing Reading once and Elmira twice during that week. It will also be the last of four head-to-head clashes between the two clubs, who will meet up for a three-game series in Ontario on January 16th, 17th, and 18th.
Wheeling will be home for two games this weekend on Friday and Saturday, with both contests beginning at 7:35 against the Greenville Road Warriors.
The December 19th game is a Frosty & Flat Screen Friday, presented by The Highlands & The Law Firm of Bordas and Bordas. There will also be a Max MacKay Poster Giveaway, courtesy of Rich and Shirley's Quick Print of Wheeling. The 20th is a season ticket redemption night and team picture giveaway (holiday edition). Both games are slated for 7:35 starts against the Greenville Road Warriors.
Holiday packs are also available. For $49, fans can purchase the Elf Package, receiving four ticket vouchers, a t-shirt, and an autographed puck. For $99, fans can purchase the Reindeer Package, receiving ten ticket vouchers. For $129, fans can purchase the Santa Package, receiving four ticket vouchers, a replica jersey, and a Reebok hat.
Wheeling Nailers 2014-15 season tickets, flex tickets, group tickets and single-game tickets are on sale now. For more information, call 304-234-GOAL or visit wheelingnailers.com.
