THE STORY COMING IN: The Greenville Road Warriors (14-9-1), proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, enter Tuesday morning's contest on a season-high, five-game point streak and in a tie for second place in the East Division with Elmira (29 points) - six points behind first-place Florida. Last week, Greenville went 1-0-1 in a pair of thrilling contests against Cincinnati and South Carolina, and now look for their first six-game point streak since a set of games that spanned Jan. 5, 2013 - Jan. 26, 2013.

On Thursday, the Road Warriors completed the sweep of a three-game home stand when Michael St. Croix netted the game-winning goal with less than eight minutes to play in a 3-2 win over Cincinnati. The victory improved the Warriors' record on SANDLAPPER Securities Rink to 7-1-0 this season, which is the best home record in the league (.875).

Two nights later, Jason Missiaen was outstanding in making a season-high 42 saves, but the Road Warriors fell in a shootout, 2-1, at the North Charleston Coliseum. Tyler Brown notched Greenville's only goal in regulation, while Trevor Parkes and Josh Nicholls each recorded a shootout tally.

TRUE "ROAD" WARRIORS: Greenville continues its third-longest road trip of the season on Tuesday, a five-game, four-city trek that runs through Dec. 20th. Along the way, Greenville will face, South Carolina, Cincinnati, Toledo and Wheeling - all teams the Road Warriors have seen at least one time this season. Overall, the Road Warriors will play 20 of their first 28 games this year away from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. The club is 7-8-1 on the road so far this season.

WARRIORS VS. WALLEYE: Tuesday's game marks the second of three meetings this season between the Warriors and Walleye (two in Toledo and one in Greenville). The Road Warriors currently lead the season-series 1-0-0 following their 6-3 win in Toledo on Nov. 21st. That night, Greenville received goals from six different skaters, including Parkes' first of the year against his former team, which stood as the game-winner. Last year, the Road Warriors went 3-0-0 against the Walleye and 2-0-0 in those contests on the road. Overall, Greenville leads the all-time series with a record of 13-2-1.

WARRIORS VS. CYCLONES: Wednesday's game marks the second of four meetings between the Road Warriors and Cyclones this season (three in Greenville, one in Cincinnati). The Warriors currently lead the series 1-0-0 following their 3-2 victory at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena last Thursday. Greenville is 8-4-3 all-time against the Cyclones.

VIEW FROM TOLEDO: The Walleye (17-4-1-1) enter Tuesday's game in second place in the Eastern Conference standings, just one point behind Fort Wayne, who paces the league with 37 points. Since facing the Road Warriors on Nov. 21st, Toledo has earned points in nine of 10 games, with eight wins during that span. The club's offense is currently led by forward Anthony Luciani (12g, 15a, 27pts), who is tied for fourth in the league's scoring race. In addition, Tyler Barnes (11g, 15a, 26pts) leads all rookies in scoring, while goaltender Jeff Lerg (11-2-2) is just one win shy of the league's top spot.

VIEW FROM CINCINNATI: The Cyclones (9-8-0-4) have dropped to fourth place in the North Division after losing five of their last seven games. However, Cincinnati was victorious in its last contest on Saturday after scoring four straight goals to begin the game en route to a 4-2 win at Gwinnett. Reigning Kelly Cup Finals MVP, Rob Madore, made 27 saves on 29 shots for his team-leading sixth win of the season. Wednesday will mark the start of a three-game home stand for Cincinnati, which runs through Saturday, Dec. 20th.

QUICK HITS: JasonMissiaen is 1-0-1 with a 1.44 goals against average and .965 save percentage since Jeff Malcolm's call-up to AHL Hartford on Dec. 8th.....The Road Warriors have been outshot in each of their last four games, but are 6-3-1 when being outshot this season..... Greenville is just 2-for-31 (6.5%) on the power play over its last 12 games, but is a perfect 8-0-0 when scoring at least one power play goal.

OFFENSIVE SURGE: The Road Warriors have scored an impressive 23 goals in their last five contests combined (4.60/ game), which is three more than the team scored in its first seven games this season. The Road Warriors also boast a very balanced attack, as Grenville does not have a player in the top 67 in the league's scoring race. The Warriors are a perfect 13-0-0 when scoring at least three goals this season, something the team has done in four of its last five games.

RISE AND SHINE: The Road Warriors partake in their only morning game of the season on Tuesday (10:35 a.m.), and their first contest before Noon since Dec. 19, 2012 when Greenville fell to Wheeling, 4-1, at WesBanco Arena. That morning, Jason Missiaen stopped 30 of 34 shots he faced, but suffered the loss in the only morning game of his ECHL career thus far. Greenville also played at 9:45 a.m. on Nov. 6, 2012 and earned a 4-2 victory at Evansville.
