Anaheim Reassigns LaBarbera to Norfolk

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks announce that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned goaltender Jason LaBarbera to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals.

LaBarbera, 34, returns to Norfolk following a month-and-a-half stay in Anaheim serving as Frederik Andersen's backup. In five games for the Ducks, LaBarbera went 2-0-1 and logged a 2.61 goals-against average (GAA) and a .909 save percentage (SV%). He's played in five contests this season for Norfolk as well and is 3-2-0 with a 2.80 GAA and .898 SV%.

The Admirals return to Scope ice on Friday evening to host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Face-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the Scope Box Office, any Ticketmaster outlet, online at ticketmaster.com or by phone at 1-800-745-3000. Season tickets are also still available at the Admirals Administrative Office located at Scope Arena.
