Jones Recalled by AHL's Worcester Sharks

INDIANAPOLIS - Indy Fuel defenseman Nick Jones, a 6'2", 200 lb., right-handed shooter from Cranberry, Pennsylvania, was recalled by the AHL's Worcester Sharks, the Fuel announced Saturday. In his latest AHL assignment, Jones appeared in one game for the Sharks before returning to the Fuel for Friday's 3-2 loss to the Florida Everblades at Germain Arena in Estero, Florida.

In 15 ECHL appearances this season, Jones has one goal and six total points to his credit, along with two penalty minutes and a -5 rating. Jones, 24, appeared in a pair of games for Worcester during the 2013-14 season following the conclusion of a four-year collegiate playing career at Mercyhurst College.
