Pedro Ribeiro Selected by Orlando City SC in Expansion Draft

Chester, Pa. (Dec. 10, 2014) - Philadelphia Union forward Pedro Ribeiro was selected by Orlando City SC in the fourth round of the 2015 MLS Expansion Draft Wednesday.
"We thank Pedro for his time here in Philly and wish him the best as he continues his career in Orlando," said Union technical director Chris Albright.
Ribeiro, 24, made nine appearances (three starts) as a rookie in 2014.
The expansion draft featured incoming MLS clubs Orlando City SC and New York City FC, which alternated picks for 10 rounds. Orlando City SC now owns Ribeiro's rights, effective immediately.
