Hartford Wolf Pack News Release

The Wolf Pack (12-9-2-1, 27 pts.) grabbed a share of third place in the Northeast Division this past week, by collecting three out of a possible six points in a three-game weekend. The stretch started with a wild game in Syracuse Friday night, with the Wolf Pack giving up five goals in the first period before storming back to climb to within one goal, and ultimately losing 6-5. Chris Bourque and Danny Kristo had a goal and an assist each in that game. On Saturday at home vs. Springfield, the Wolf Pack battled the red-hot Falcons to a standoff, but could never beat Falcon goaltender Anton Forsberg in what became a 1-0 shootout loss. Cedrick Desjardins earned his first Wolf Pack shutout in that one, making 31 saves. The Pack finished the weekend on a high note at home Sunday, downing the Binghamton Senators 4-2. That victory was buoyed by a team season-high 45 saves by Mackenzie Skapski, two goals from Danny Kristo, and Chris Bourque's goal and two assists.

This week:

The Wolf Pack finish off a four-game homestand with 7:00 games this Thursday and Friday at the XL Center, vs. the Albany Devils and Worcester Sharks, respectively, and then renew acquaintances with their Connecticut rivals the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Sunday afternoon in Bridgeport (3:00).

Thursday, December 11 vs. the Albany Devils at the XL Center, 7:00 PM

- This is "Throwback Thursday", as the Wolf Pack throws back prices on a number of popular concession items. Hot dogs, popcorn, nachos and soda are all on sale for only $2 each.

- The Wolf Pack and NBC Connecticut are also offering a special ticket deal for this game. Red-level tickets can be purchased for only $7 each through the Wolf Pack's official website, www.hartfordwolfpack.com, by entering the promo code NBCCT. One dollar for each ticket purchased through that promo code will go to Toys for Tots, courtesy of NBC Connecticut.

- This is also another opportunity for fans to take advantage of the Wolf Pack's "Click It or Ticket Family Value Packs", which include two tickets, two sodas and two hot dogs, all for only $35.

- The Wolf Pack and Devils meet for the fifth time on the year in this game, and the Pack have taken the last two after losing the first pair. Hartford is 1-1-0-0 at home on the year vs. Albany, having lost 7-3 on October 24 and won 3-1 November 5.

- The Devils (11-8-1-4, 27 pts.) and Wolf Pack are tied for third place in the Northeast Division, two points behind second-place Syracuse. Albany has lost its last two, after a 4-0-0-1 streak.

- Devil points leader Joe Whitney (8-12-20 in 24 GP) had two goals in the last game between the Wolf Pack and Devils, a 4-3 Pack shootout victory Thanksgiving Eve in Albany.

- For this and all Wolf Pack home games, tickets start as low as $12 for youth 12 years old or younger and are available at the XL Center ticket office, on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com and by phone at (877) 522-8499.

Friday, December 12 vs. the Worcester Sharks at the XL Center, 7:00 PM

- Fans are encouraged to bring new soft toys to this game, to be hurled on to the ice when the Wolf Pack score their first goal of the game, in the Pack's annual "Teddy Bear Toss", benefitting Toys for Tots.

- Once again this season, at this and all Friday-night Wolf Pack home games, fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $2 beers at the XL Center, through the start of the second period.

- Also at Friday-night home games this year, "Hawk's Nest" will be featured in the XL Center's Comcast Coliseum Club, with Bob "Hawk" Crawford, the play-by-play voice of the Wolf Pack, conducting a Wolf Pack-themed interview from 6:00-6:20 PM. Questions and comments will be welcomed from the patrons enjoying the Comcast Coliseum Club's wide array of dining and beverage options. The Comcast Coliseum Club restaurant and bar area is open two hours prior to every Wolf Pack home game, to everyone holding a ticket to the game.

- This game finishes a stretch of four straight road games for the Sharks, who are 10-10-2-0 for 22 points and tied for fourth in the Atlantic Division.
