Austin Sodders to Return to Knights

The Corvallis Knights have signed sophomore Austin Sodders of Riverside City College for the 2015 season. He is a lefty who was 4-0 with a 3.46 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 26 innings in 18 relief appearances with the Knights in 2014.

A 6-foot-4, 180-pounder from Canyon Creek High School in Moreno Valley, Calif., Sodders was 3-1, 2.81 in 11 games as a freshman at RCC in 2014, with 13 strikeouts in 16 innings.

He is the fifth pitcher from 2014 to return, joining Angel Landazuri of UC Riverside, Harrison McGhee of Concordia, Merrick Patito of Chaffey College and Alex Nesbitt of Washington.
