Stingrays Game Preview: Stingrays Close Road Trip Today against the Reading Royals

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays visit the Reading Royals today at 5:05 at Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania to close a three-game in three-day road trip. Today is the second of three regular-season meetings between the two teams.
Series Breakdown:
The Stingrays took down the Royals 4-2 last night at Santander Arena behind a 40-save performance from goaltender Jeff Jakaitis and multi-point games from forwards Braden Pimm (one goal, one assist), Wayne Simpson (one goal, one assist) and Joe Devin (one goal, one assist). All-time, the Stingrays improved to 16-9-0 against the Royals.
On a Streak:
The Stingrays enter tonight's matchup on a season-high five-game winning streak. Jakaitis earned victories in each contest. Pimm enters tonight's matchup on a five-game point streak with six points (four goals, two assists) while defenseman Garrett Harr is on a three-game point streak with five points (three goals, two assists).
Mr. Simpson:
Simpson has points in six of his last eight games (five goals, four assists) and holds two goals and three assists for five points in his last two contests.
Strong Goaltending:
Jakaitis is on a five-game winning streak and holds a goals-against average of 1.20, a .950 save percentage and two shutouts during the stretch.
