Lumberjacks Trade Cooper Marody to Sioux Falls for Will Graber

MUSKEGON, Michigan (December 4th) - The Muskegon Lumberjacks have announced a trade in which the organization has acquired Forward Will Graber and a fourth round pick in the 2015 USHL Phase II Draft from the Sioux Falls Stampede in exchange for Forward Cooper Marody and a tenth round pick in the 2015 USHL Phase II Draft. Muskegon's tenth round pick was originally obtained from the Tri-City Storm in the Chase Hatcher trade back in early September.

Will Graber, the Longmont, Colorado native, comes to the Lumberjacks after skating in 20 games this season with the Stampede and totaling four goals and six assists. The forward also appeared in 20 games last season after being drafted by the Sioux Falls during the 2013 USHL Phase II Draft in the 18th round (269th overall).

In addition, Graber spent portions of the 2013-14 season with the Brookings Blizzard out of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) and Kansas City Mavs Elite Midget Major team. Graber recorded three assists in 25 games with the Blizzard while tallying a pair of goals in 12 games with the Kansas City Mavs. Prior to being drafted into the USHL, Graber spent the 2012-13 season with the Russell Stover Midget Minor squad notching 13 goals and 9 assists in 40 games played.

In return, Muskegon sends Cooper Marody to Sioux Falls after the Brighton, Michigan native and Michigan commit appeared in 72 career games with the Lumberjacks accumulating 11 goals and 28 assists.
