Geoff Snider Traded to Outlaws in Exchange for Terry Kimener, Draft Pick

December 3, 2014 - Major League Lacrosse (MLL) News Release

BOSTON (December 3, 2014) - The Charlotte Hounds and Denver Outlaws have executed a trade that will send Faceoff Specialist Geoff Snider to Denver in exchange for veteran midfielder Terry Kimener and a fifth round 2016 Supplemental Draft selection.

Originally selected by the Outlaws in 2006, Snider appeared in 70 games winning 51% of his faceoffs (987-1927) and recording 43 goals and 26 assists. While he only appeared in a handful of games for Charlotte, he was instrumental in the Hounds' run to the 2013 Championship Game. In 2014 Snider was a member of the FIL World Champion Canadian team capturing the Gold Medal in an 8-5 victory over team USA.

Kimener is entering his eighth season in the League. He was originally drafted by Chicago in the 2008 MLL Collegiate Draft and acquired by the Outlaws in the 2011 Supplemental Draft. In his seven-year career, the UMBC product appeared in 75 games recording 73 goals and 63 assists while collecting 67 groundballs.

The Hounds and the Outlaws, as well as all the other MLL teams now turn their attention to the 2015 MLL Supplemental Draft on Wednesday, December 17 at 12 p.m. ET, where the teams will bolster their rosters in preparation for the 2015 season.
