IceDogs Perlini Set to Return to Action Thursday

December 3, 2014 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Niagara IceDogs News Release

Niagara IceDogs forward Brendan Perlini has been cleared to play and will make his season debut for the IceDogs Thursday night when they host the Guelph Storm at the Meridian Centre.

Perlini was selected 12th overall by the Arizona Coyotes in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft this past summer and has been out all season after suffering a hand injury during an exhibition game with the Coyotes while at their training camp.

In 58 games with the IceDogs last season, Perlini had 34 goals and 37 assists. He also represented Canada at the 2014 World Junior Under-18 tournament where he served as an assistant captain and tallied four points in seven games.

This is Perlini's second full season with the IceDogs after being selected 16th overall in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection by the Barrie Colts, before being traded to Niagara in the 2012-13 season.

Tickets for Thursday night are still available and can be purchased at any IceDogs ticketing location or by calling 905-687-3641 or visiting www.niagaraicedogs.net!
