December 3, 2014 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Sarnia Sting News Release

Last weekend, the Sting were victories in 4 games played over the course of 4 and a half days. The 4-0 weekend was well deserved as the Sting were without top guns, Pavel Zacha and Jakob Chychrun. Chychrun is still 'week-to-week' with an upper body injury, and 1st line centre, Pavel Zacha will make his return to the lineup on Saturday night in Saginaw after serving a 6 game suspension.

Heading into the weekend, Sarnia have won 5 straight games, and been victorious in 7 of their last 8 outings.

Friday is Special Olympics night at the RBC Centre. Representatives from the local Special Olympic Swim Team will be in attendance for puck drop. Additionally, they will have a kiosk set up on the concourse where fans can make donations to Special Olympics Canada.

Sunday's game marks the 17th Annual Teddy Bear Toss game, presented by Lambton Ford. When the Sting score their first goal of the game, fans are encouraged to toss their stuffed animals over the glass and onto the ice. All stuffed toys collected will be counted by Lambton Ford and then donated to local charities to serve as Christmas presents for children in need. As a reminder, kids tickets are just $6 on Sunday afternoon.
