Sliders 2015 Schedule Announced

Springfield Sliders News Release
The 2015 Prospect League schedule is out. Here are a few highlights:
-The schedule features a 60 game schedule divided into two halves (division winners of each half advance to the playoffs)
-Teams will play a limited crossover schedule vs. opposite division teams
-The Sliders will open the season at home on Wednesday, May 27th with the final regular season home game coming on Monday, August 3rd
-Mondays are league wide off days
-The Sliders will play home games against West Virginia and Champion City (Springfield, OH) of the East Division as well as new comer Kokomo, IN who have been placed in the West Division
-Richmond, IN will host the All-Star game on Wednesday, July 8th.

The Springfield Sliders are members of the Prospect League with teams in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and West Virginia. Their 60 game schedule begins in late May and runs into August. All Sliders home games are played at Robin Roberts Stadium located at 1415 N Grand Ave E in Springfield, IL.
