November 28, 2014 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Vancouver Giants News Release

The Vancouver Giants fired 35 shots on the net of Tristan Jarry, but the Edmonton goaltender stopped everything that was thrown his way as the Oil Kings won 3-0 at Rexall Place on Friday night. The loss was Vancouver's sixth in a row.

Ashton Sautner opened the scoring just 22 seconds into the game to give the Oil Kings the lead, firing a puck past Giants goaltender Cody Porter through a screen on the left wing. Aaron Irving added to the lead in the second period when he scored a power play goal on a shot from the bottom of the left circle that bounced off a Giant defender and into the net. Brandon Baddock made it 3-0 in the third period with a power play goal of his own, deflecting a long shot from in front of Porter's goal.

The Giants will conclude their four game Alberta road trip on Saturday night in Calgary against the Hitmen. Face-off is set for 6:00pm.

Vancouver's next home game is on December 5th when the Portland Winterhawks visit the Pacific Coliseum. For tickets, call 604-4-GIANTS (604-444-2687) or visit VancouverGiants.com.
