Florida Panthers Recall G Dan Ellis

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers Executive Vice-President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has recalled G Dan Ellis from San Antonio (AHL). In addition, the club announced today that F Scottie Upshall has been placed on injured reserve, retroactive to Nov. 24.
Ellis, 34, has played in 204 National Hockey League games for Nashville (2007-2010), Tampa Bay (2010-2011), Anaheim (2011-2012), Carolina (2012-2013), Dallas (2003-04 & 2013-14) and Florida (2013-2014), posting a 83-76-0-17 record with 14 shutouts.
The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native, has appeared in 12 games with San Antonio this year, going 8-4-0 with a 2.13 GAA and a .918 save percentage.
