Erne, Ehlers and Richard named three stars of the week

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, November 24, 2014 - Adam Erne, Nikolaj Ehlers and Anthony Richard were named today, the three stars of the week for November 17 to 23, 2014.

The first star of the week is the Quebec Remparts' forward, Adam Erne. The Tampa Bay Lightning prospect completed the week with 2 goals, 6 assists, a +5 rating and won 75% of his face-offs. Friday against the Sherbrooke Phoenix, Erne scored 2 goals and assisted on Kurt Etchegary's game winning goal. Erne was named the first star in the Remparts' 4-2 win. He tallied 2 more points in a 6-4 loss against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies on Saturday. The Remparts won 6-2 against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar, and Erne ended the week with 3 more assists including one on Timashov's game winning goal. He now has 38 points in 21 games for a 1.81 points per game average.

Nikolaj Ehlers, Halifax Mooseheads forward, is the second star of the week. In two games, he scored 6 points and maintained a +4 rating. Saturday, in an 8-2 win over the Rimouski Oceanic, Ehlers scored a goal, added 3 assists and was named the first star of the game. Against the Moncton Wildcats, he scored the winning goal for a 4-3 win. As of today, he has collected a total of 30 points in 18 games this season.

The Val-d'Or Foreurs' forward, Anthony Richard, is the third star of the week. He scored 5 goals and added one assist in three road games. Friday against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar, Richard was named the second star with 3 points, but it wasn't enough for a win, the Foreurs were beaten 5-4 during the shootout. Sunday in the second game of a back to back against the Chicoutimi Saguenéens, Richard scored 3 goals and was named the first star in a 6-5 overtime victory.
