Admirals Release Pacan from PTO

NORFOLK, Va. - The Admirals announced today that right winger David Pacan has been released from his professional tryout contract (PTO). Pacan was initially added to Norfolk ' s roster on October 22.

Pacan, 23, had played eight games with the Admirals, during which time he registered one goal and two penalty minutes. He also spent a game with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL with whom he notched an assist and a plus-minus rating of +1. The 2009 Chicago Blackhawks draft pick played 65 games with the ECHL ' s Kalamazoo Wings in 2013-14, amassing 45 points on 13 goals and 32 assists. Pacan finished the year tied-second on the team in plus-minus at +15, and in the Wings ' playoff run he scored three points in six matches.

The Admirals play a two-game set against the Portland Pirates starting tonight at 7:30 p.m. and wrapping up tomorrow evening at 7:15 p.m. Tickets for this weekend are available for purchase at the Scope Box Office, ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets and charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000.
