Affordable Family Fun Just Got More Affordable

Since 1967, the Reading Fightin Phils have provided affordable family fun at America's Classic Ballpark, FirstEnergy Stadium. That acclaimed value is about to get even more affordable in 2015 as the club is lowering the pricing on general admission tickets to $7 and $5 for adults and children/seniors, respectively.

"Providing affordable family entertainment is what is most important to our organization," said Fightins General Manager Scott Hunsicker. "In a day and age when everything seems to be getting more and more expensive, we wanted to buck the trend and lower prices to provide even more value to our loyal fans. Those fans that enjoy general admission will pay $1 less per ticket this season while box seat tickets will remain at the same affordable price for the 7th consecutive year."

Additionally, for the first time ever, the main grandstand will be entirely composed of reserved box seats with the addition of the Green Box section. General admission seats will now be located in the first base & third base grandstands. A copy of that seating chart can be found HERE.

This upcoming season the Fightins will also be introducing advance ticket pricing where fans who purchase tickets in advance are rewarded with a lower ticket price than those tickets purchased the day of the game. A chart outlying the pricing can be found below:

Blue Box Seats $11 $13

Yellow Box Seats $10 $12

Green Box Seats $9 $11

General Admission (Adult) $7 $9

General Admission (Child/Senior) $5 $7

Fans can continue to get the best seats available in the Yellow Box section at a discounted rate with a Fightins Mini-Plan. Mini-Plans are offered at 6-game and 11-game increments. Season ticket packages are also available at 22-games and 35-games.

Just in time for the holidays, Reading Fightin Phils "Cheaper By The Dozen" ticket books are available for the 2015 season. Each book contains 12 undated general admission tickets that can be used for any regular season home game in 2015. Each book also contains a voucher for two free admissions for Opening Night on April 17th. Orders for adult and children/senior books are currently being taken HERE and will be available in-person the second week of December.

The Fightin Phils will kick off their home schedule on Thursday, April 17th when the team hosts the Richmond Flying Squirrels at FirstEnergy Stadium. Season tickets, mini-plans, and group tickets for 2015 can be purchased online at Fightins.com, by phone at 610-370-BALL, and in-person by visiting the Fightins Ticket Office at FirstEnergy Stadium.
